Lex Luger is getting his wish.

In a heartfelt video released earlier Friday, former WCW Heavyweight Champion Lex Luger was told he would be inducted into the 2025 class of the WWE Hall of Fame. The ceremony will take place during WrestleMania 41 weekend, which is April 19-20 in Las Vegas.

Luger, who is paralyzed, was working out with fellow WWE Hall of Famer and former WCW Heavyweight Champion Diamond Dallas Page in hopes of being able to walk again someday. During the workout, current WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes stopped by for a surprise visit.

After hugging Page and Luger, Rhodes let "The Total Package" know that he would be going into the WWE Hall of Fame.

In his first run in WCW, Luger was a member of the Four Horsemen with Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, and Tully Blanchard with JJ Dillon as their manager. Also, Luger went on to become a two-time United States Champion. Finally at The Great American Bash in July 1991, Luger pinned Barry Windham to win his first WCW Heavyweight Title. Luger left the company after losing the title to his best friend in wrestling, Sting.

Luger's first WWE appearance came in an interview during WrestleMania VIII. But Luger didn't make his in-ring WWE debut until January 1993 because he was going to compete in the failed WBF and then got into a motorcycle accident.

Luger ended up being the co-winner of the 1994 Royal Rumble with Bret Hart. But Luger failed to wrest the WWE Title from Yokozuna at WrestleMania X. His WWE run didn't go as planned as he never won a belt while in the company.

Then after competing at a WWE House Show the night, Luger made a shock appearance on the debut episode of WCW Monday Nitro in September 1995. The reason that happened was because Luger, who had been negotiating on a new contract with Vince McMahon, didn't have a current deal, so he made the jump to return home.

Luger again became one of the biggest stars of WCW. He won the Tag Team Titles with Sting. The pinnacle of his run was on August 4, 1997 on the 100th episode of Nitro, Luger defeated Hulk Hogan to win the WCW World Heavyweight Title.
